Check website for current trail openings and conditions (park recovering from 2020 wildfire). Sempervirens Falls trail when open is 3.4 miles out-and-back through stunning redwoods. Dress in layers - can be cool in forest even on hot days. Bring water and snacks. Watch for banana slugs and wildlife. Trails can be muddy after rain. Fire recovery ongoing but forest regenerating.
